There’s no point in you doing this as yesy is a WAY better fansub group and is alredy doing this porject. Unless you can put out better quality and faster releases…..you are wasting your time and the time of others

I KNEW IT!!!! Why does someone have to say something bad so people start commenting on a reales? It’s like that on most fansubber’s site. The release was made more then five hours and NO coments. I come in here, say something bad, and BAM, people start talking. Come on!!! This is a new sub-group….they need all the feedback they can get. I didn’t really mean what i posted…specially since yesy is kinda slow. However, what they did do in their reales of the first episode of Poly is that they released it in HDTV with H264 and ACC. I don’t like LQ versions of any kind if the RAW’s are HQ, and in general I don’t understand why some group realese an encode that is WAY worse then the original. An example of this is Froth-Byte, who don’t release ANY vesions with a resolution higher then 704×400(more or less). Yes….I am an HDTV advocate.

im quite sure we’re HD and widescreen. avi are xvid and mkv are h264. then again.. some people are picky, some are not. well~ im not. =X

BTW…this version is WAAAAAAAAY better they yesy for one reason: 16/9. WHY THE HELL WOULD SOMEONE RELESE A CROPED VERSION???!!! So now, my real review: first off, extra points for widescreen. Now, the video quality is not that good, but I can’t really coments as I don’t know how good/bad the RAW was. No problems with the audio, and the subtitle was readable. I also really like that you left some words in japanese, like “bourai” and wrote a small translator note above it. All in all, this is a great realse nad it’s way better then yesy’s XVID release. I DO have to ask: Will you be releasing an HQ version? I’m going to download your stuff anyway, but I would really enjoy a HQ version if posible. Thanks for the great work guys.

i think abt the widescreen raws, there’s a divx6511 version and a xvid1.2 version…
i personally think that xvid version is better for subsequent eps…

hihi, here some comment after watching the release
1) The raw really looks bad…i think i know y yesy dun wanna do the widescreen raws…lol
2) the group’s crediting on the opening video looks abit too big…which makes it a little unsightly…
3) I think its possible to add in the kanji lettering for the op/ed?? just static text without any karaoke effect will do to…since it looks much nicer…
That about it…overall a great release…thanks

we have a slightly higher H264 version that’ll be ready soon just ironing out a few technical difficulties unfortunately it’ll be the same 704*396 resolution because of raw limitations

What the hell is it with you people and karaoke? I agree that I like knowing the lyrics of the songs….but karaoke? What the hell….like I’m going to sing along with it? Who in the name of God sings along with anime openings? (The japanee I know….but they don’t need the karaoke…they know the fucking song already). So PLEASE stop bitching about karaoke. And why the hell would you need the kanji? To check if the translation is correct? Come on……you all want faster releases but still want all this decorative stuff that needs a lot of work.

I’m posting not to argue on which group is better, cause I think Polyphonica itself turned out to be crap – I just love commenting on “karaoke” topics. xD
I’m completely anti “karaoke” such as yourself I guess, but for different reasons – I for one like to sing. The reason I hate “karaoke” in fansubs is because MOST OF THE TIME it’s absolutely NOT MADE for singing – it’s more like a showoff for typesetters, with funky effects that make it impossible to sing along with it.
Since a lot of the time slow releases are blamed on lack of karaoke, I just don’t see any point in it. Anyhow, that’s it and good luck with future releases.

its true… adding stuff IS hard and its also a fact that we cannot please every single person. but rest assure, we’ll try our best. Since it’s our 1st time, i do hope you guys can understand and we’ll improve in the near future. For now, I really hope you guys can suppose us through this season and give us a chance to improve. Who know? You might end up keeping our subs at the end of the season, though its just my wishful thinking

Well….it’s true that this series is not one of the best, but it’s still fun to watch. I mean….90% of anime is “just fun to watch”. The animation is good and the soundtrack is good, plus we got good looking girls. May not be the next Evangelion, but that’s no reason not to have it subtitled. Plus, it reminds me a lot of Demonbane.
